Some of the best people you'll meet in Dubai are still strangers
A hand-curated supper club in Dubai. People, food and wine, and a table for real conversation.
This city brings together people from everywhere, but real connection can be hard to find. So I bring eight to twelve people together at restaurants chosen with care, around good food, wine and something they quietly share, and let a shared meal do what small talk can't.
Why The Common Table
We've got used to talking without saying much.
We message all day and still keep our conversations shallow. What's your job, where do you live, how long have you been here. Then everyone goes home.
In a world that feels more digital and more impersonal every year, I think we need the opposite: time with real people, and conversations that actually go somewhere.
So this is simple. One long table, good food, and people who are curious about each other. It is not dating, and it is not networking. It's dinner, done properly.

Meet the host
Bianca Berenguer, curator.
I spent more than twenty years in Human Resources. Reading and connecting people is what I do for a living. I notice who will spark with whom, and who simply needs the right question to open up. Along the way I built a wide network of people across the UAE.
Back in Brazil I also worked as a culinary teacher, where a meal was always the reason people stayed at the table a little longer. That's the feeling I'm after: food on the table, and nobody in a hurry to leave.
The Common Table brings both together. I read every application myself and choose who sits next to whom. Then I'm at the table with you, every time.
Apply
I curate each table by hand to find the right mix of people. If an invitation takes time, it only means I am waiting for the table that fits.
